Some cities in Africa house some of the continent's most monumental structures known to man and since they are in Africa that makes it more real in statue and importance as this continent plays and played a hugh wrole in the construction of the new world.and here are the top ten most expensive building's.

The list starts from the lowest price upward!

(1) 88 on Field - $40 million

This 25 story skyscraper is found in Durban KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa it was built in 1985, and the building also stands at 147 meters tall.

(2) Hilton Taba resort & Nelson Village - $41 million

The Hilton Taba resort and Nelson Village is situated on the shore's of the Red sea, the resort also has a private beach, built in the 1980s the Israeli government bought it for $41million but later handed it over to the Egyptians for free in1989.

(3) Maison des deputes/ Yamoussoukro - $50 million

The 7 story low-rise building Maison des deputes is located in Yamoussoukro, Ivory coast, it is a pink pyramid building surrounded by acres of gardens and a swimming pool.

(4) Hilton Durban KwaZulu-Natal South Africa - $61 million

The Hilton stands near the international convention Centre in Durban,South Africa, it has furthermore establish itself as a landmark of the city.

(5) Michelangelo Towers - $64 million

The towers stand at 147 m above the ground in Sandton City, South Africa, the towers took two years to complete and is the third largest building in South Africa.

(6) The Pearl's of Umhlanga - $138 million

Located in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa it is a Dubai-styled luxurious residential and retail project, which has drawn in investment of over $34 million dollars.

(7) Portside Tower - $138 million

Is the first of its kind as it is a green building using LED lighting and stands as the tallest building in Cape town, South Africa.

(8) Corinthia Hotel Tripoli - $152 million

Based in Tripoli Libya, the Corinthia Hotel Tripoli stands at the centre of the city

(9) AU Conference Centre and Office Complex - $200 million

Located in Addis Ababa, the building is the main headquarters of the African Union.

(10) Bibliotheca Alexandrina - $220 million

Bibliotheca Alexandrina is a library and cultural centre, a fun fact is that the library has a shelf space for over 8 million books, as for its massive and mervalous design resembling a sundial.
